🔗 Share this article The Animated Series' Creator Has Seen Your Season 2 Bingo Cards — With Some Good News The much-anticipated Season 2 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel debuts on Prime Video soon, and audience theories has been rampant. Season 1 introduces a large cast of characters residing in the afterlife, pits them against each other accompanied by songs detailing their conflicts, and establishes heated competitions and emotional bonds that drive audience devotion. The fandom's stated hopes for season 2 vary widely, but certain threads emerge over and over: Will a fan-favorite character break free from Valentino? Might we learn more about the binding agreement constraining Alastor the Radio Demon? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together? "Naturally, I don't produce the show with fan service as the main goal," the showrunner commented earlier this year. "But I believe that me being a devotee of the series means there's a lot of it just naturally. I also am eager for these things, and I want some of these things to happen, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!" She says her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have received approval by Prime Video and A24, which produce the series. That might mean fans have to be patient for some of the major resolutions — but they may be surprised at how quickly season 2 progresses, and how much of what they're anticipating happens now. "I feel like people are going to be highly satisfied," she adds. "We get some firsts. I think we get some really amazing disclosures, some fascinating backstories, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear additional musical numbers from the characters we didn't get to hear before." The creator is well-informed of the guesses and hopes about season 2 — particularly in the form of fan bingo cards. "I've seen a couple people make a bingo card about the new season," she mentions. "Obviously I won't share it, but I've already completed a few items, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that brings me joy." Hazbin Hotel season 2 premieres on the streaming service on October 29.
